In one country it is possible to experience ski resorts and deserts, thanks to its geographical condition. Having access to the seashores and oceans besides mountain ranges can provide a unique opportunity for tourists.

Iran is also blessed by regular snowfalls up to 7 m (21 feet) every winter. Indeed, Iran has at least 25 ski resorts that many of them are among the 20 highest ones in the world.

Being a mountainous country, there is more than one million km altitude in Iran. It is worthy to mention that skiers have been skiing in Iran for nearly 50 years professionally.

So many people cannot even imagine it is possible to see four seasons at the same time in one country. In the south of Iran, not only swimming but also diving are so fashionable and popular. Amateur and professional scuba divers can enjoy being in the Persian Gulf.

Itinerary

Arrival at Tehran airport, transfer to hotel & rest. O/N Tehran.

We will visit the Archaeological & Islamic Art Museums, the finest museums in Iran, where you’ll view a collection of ancient Persian civilization. In the evening, drive to Dizin.

Full-time skiing enjoyment (Hiring skiing facilities are possible, so you do need to bring yours. A ski school with most professional teachers is available, so it is a great help.

We leave after breakfast to see the Alborz Mountain Beauty.In the evening drive back to Tehran. O/N Tehran.

Transfer to Tehran International Airport in the morning and fly to Kish Island. Spend your time doing water sports. O/N Kish.

We will visit the old Marjan aqueduct and the Portuguese castle from the Safavid era. Transfer to Kish airport to fly back to Tehran. O/N Tehran.

Overview

Iran benefits from high, snowy mountains and a lot of ski resorts. One of the most exciting sports activities in Iran is skiing. There are more than 20 ski resorts in the country. Dizin, 60 KM from Tehran, is one of the most famous.

We will be picked up from Imam Khomeini airport and transferred directly to the hotel in Dizin. In the morning, after breakfast, you will meet your local guide, who knows the areas well as well. Begin your ski touring by taking a telecabin to the mountains and beginning your tour.You have two options, depending on the snow conditions: the telecabin, and the second is the transfer by car to the start point of each mountain for skiing.

Dizin Winter & Summer Ski Resort offers a wide variety of sports.

Dizin has different facilities of all kinds (hotels, restaurants, ski school, and tennis courts) to create a very nice place for ski lovers.

Hiring skiing facilities is possible, so you do need to bring yours. Also, a ski school with professional teachers is available, so it is a great help.

Mount Damavand Tour, South Face

Itinerary

Arrival at IKA, meet and greet with your guide. Drive to Polour, a village in the Larijan district in Mazandaran, the best starting point for south-face climbing of Mount Damavand. O/N Polour (Hut–B–D)

After having breakfast, transfer to Gousfandsara at the foot of Mount Damavand. Begin your hiking adventure toward Bargah-e Sevom. O/N Bargah-e Sevom (4250M) (Advanced Camp, B– Lunch box–D)

On this day, climb up to a height of 4300 meters to practice acclimatization. In the evening, return to Bargah-e Sevom and rest. O/N Bargah-e Sevom (4250M) (Advanced Camp–B-Lunch box-D)

Early in the morning (around 05:00 AM), begin your climb from 4100 meters to the peak (5671M). After spending some time at the peak, you will return to the camp. O/N Sevom Bargah (Advanced Camp – B – Lunch Box – D)

Descend from Bargah to Gousfandsara, then drive to Rineh village. You may swim and relax in the thermal water springs at Larijan as you wish. Then head back to Tehran. Transfer to the IKIA and fly back home. The end of the tour.

Itinerary

Drive north in the early morning. Drive to Neka (6-hour drive). After lunch, drive toward Zeynavand, a coastal village next to the Caspian Sea. Check in to the guest house and take your time to get ready for birdwatching. Drive toward Miankaleh Wetland, one of the best birdwatching sites in Gorgan. Transfer to a guest house and rest. O/N in Miankaleh Guest House

In the early morning, head to Miankaleh Wetland to observe more birds. Next, visit Ashuradeh Island, which is close to Miankaleh Wetland. Spend the day exploring the area. O/N in Miankaleh Guest House

After breakfast, drive toward Tehran and rest. Transfer to IKA International Airport to fly home.
